LYE CALCULATIONS
The in-built lye calculator in Cosmetic Companion provides much more than other online services. ​
It shows interactive visual information on the properties of each ingredient. Additionally showing, graphically, the evolving properties of your soap recipe.
Also provided is a price banding for ingredients, to help you judge the likely price range of your product.
ADDITIVES
There is no blanket percentage for the quantity of additives that you can add to your product. The amount, of each additive, must meet UK and European safety standards to ensure that the product is safe for your customers to use.​

Cosmetic Companion has a in-built algorithm, which works out the percentages of ingredients that you can add to your product.
RAW MATERIALS STOCK
Balancing the stock of raw materials you are holding versus the sales of your product is easy to handle with Cosmetic Companion. The Raw Materials module enables you to log the purchases of materials and monitor their availability when producing more products.

Reports are available to show the value of raw materials you are holding, purchases made and maw material stock you have available, or not, when it comes to actually producing your products.
PRODUCING PRODUCTS
When planning to produce your products, Cosmetic Companion will check each ingredient against the stock you have available.
According to the results, you can decide whether to 'plan' to buy the required materials or to wait until you have bought the ingredients and produce at a later date.
Whichever you choose Cosmetic Companion will add the finished products to the inventory, ready for you to make sales.​

SALES & THE POS
The Sales & POS module gives you a powerful tool to record you sales. It offers product stock control, sales, receipt/invoice production and a tasks element, allowing tasks to be automatically created as situations arise.
Additionally, to creating a customer database, users can create their own loyalty scheme.
PAPERWORK
Cosmetic Companion takes care of documenting all the necessary paperwork. Everything is stored in the document library to support the on-going success of the recipe you have created.

Recipes, assessment applications, costings and batch logs and even shopping lists are all archived in you own private library.
