The screen shows two lists, ingredients used within recipes and all ingredients in the current Companion database.  Additional ingredients, with their suppliers, can be added to the database at any time.

Once an ingredient has been selected the stock, price, viscosity (for liquids) and quantity being bought are displayed. report shows the quantity in stock of all the ingredients, which you use in the recipes that you have created.  The viscosity of liquid ingredients is important.  The reason for this is that, when a liquid ingredient is bought, Cosmetic Companion automatically calculates and converts millilitres bought into grams and the price paid per gram.  Doing this allows for an accurate calculation of the cost of producing products.

PACKAGING STOCK

The purchases report, combined with the sales analysis report gives provides about 90% of the information required by an accountant to do their work!
